Women Summit: A Collaboration.
Our friends at Shue Ellis reached out while they were preparing a tender submission for a Women’s Summit happening in May 2025. We teamed up to develop the concept, creative, and design direction.
A slightly ‘crazy’ trivia: we actually gave their logo a little makeover. It wasn’t part of the brief, but both of us at Studio HDJ and Shue Ellis team felt something was a bit off. As creatives, we couldn’t ignore it—we had to do something. It was a bold move, a bit of a gamble, but one worth taking. It was our way of standing our ground and staying true to our principles.
A major part of our work revolved around writing, since this was a concept-first design project. A lot of effort went into expanding and explaining the overall idea and creative direction. Visually, the work mostly featured sketches and mock-ups with semi-dummy content to help bring the concept to life.
In total, we developed three concepts. Shue Ellis was shortlisted to the next stage and proceeded to deliver a pitch presentation.
All works are the property of Shue Ellis. We are sharing them here to promote the kind of work that we are capable of.
